OCEAN LINK NW
I was lead advisor to 55 graduate students executing a $100K grant to advocate for ocean sustainability through storytelling and strategic communication.
We produced short films, market research, community outreach tools, in-person pop-up experiences and more for partners ranging from shellfish farmers, to public utilities, to tribes.
In the process, I learned the importance of the human element in environmental storytelling, and I drew on my roots in Alaska commercial fishing to establish leadership.
